In the vertical challenge, climbers hauled themselves up the ropes and walked across the plank suspended between two poles before being belayed safely to the ground.

The girls walked the adventure trail engaging in team building activities along the way.
Campers grabbed a handful of painted cotton balls and threw them at the other team while trying to capture their flag.
Family Camp Dinner & Games
One night every camp the boys and girls from every cabin meet together at the fire to cook hotdogs and roast marshmallows and play together in big group games. We also learned the secret to making the perfect s’more thanks to Grant’s many years as a scout.
Nothing like good ol’ fun in the sun.
After walking through muddy creek (and intentionally covering each other in mud) the girls had fun going down the slip ‘n’ slide.
The girls climbed up a giant tower and zip lined their way to the ground at soaring speeds.

Many of the girls shot like pros. Can you say, Katniss? (Hunger Games)

The Mega Swing is an absolute thrill for everyone of all ages.
He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old.** And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. **No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. - Luke 5: 36-38
We are called to be a new wineskin… The person God wants you to be is a better person, more confident in yourself, less worried about what others think, doing right by God, helping others not so that they like you, but because God wants you to help them.
I beg you this week to be there new you, the person God wants you to be. Not the old self you have mauled out of! Not your self at home but be your new self this week.
Love God, love others, love yourself.
After passing a short swim test, everyone enjoyed Sunday night pool time, jumping off the diving board and splashing (or getting splashed by)their new friends.
- Tater Tots
