Tonight at Vespers the kids heard about how Jesus not only stands for truth, but how His word is the truth. They talked about how they can stand up for people at camp and at home! Now they are off to bed for a good nights rest before their last day of camp!
Tonight for our last dinner together we had chicken wings, potato wedges, carrots, and ice cream!
Today for lunch we had a common all American meal. We had sloppy joes, potato chips, salad, and mandarin oranges!
Today at discovery time we heard about Paul's cousin who was a hero! He stood for truth and helped Paul escape! The best part of the story is that Paul's cousin was about the age of the kids! They talked about how they can stand for truth today just like Paul's cousin!

Tonight at Vesper Hill the kids heard about the ultimate superhero. Jesus! They heard about how God loved us so much he sent his only Son to save the day! How awesome is that? They then had the oppertunity to make Jesus their forever friend! Now they are off to bed.
Tonight for dinner the kids had a camp favorite! Pizza, breadsticks, brocoli, and dirt pudding!
Today we had an all American lunch! Corn dogs, mac'n'cheese, salad, and mandarin oranges!
Today for discovery time the kids had a special visitor! A centurion came to visit them and tell them how he stepped out on faith! All he did was ask Jesus to heal his servant. And guess what! His servant was healed! Now they are off to their morning rotations.

Tonight at Vesper Hill the kids heard about all of the super powers that Jesus has and the ones that He can give to us. After a great day they are headed off to bed!
Tonight for dinner we had chicken strips, smiley fries, corn, and chocolate chip cookies!
It's Tuesday! So, you know what that means? Taco Tuesday!! The kids had a great meal of tacos, nachos, salad, and churros!

For dinner tonight we had a very Italian meal! We had lasagna roll ups, breadsticks, and green beans. For dessert we had yellow cake!

Today at discovery time the kids heard about a slave girl who did the unexpected and helped her master be healed of leprosy. She was a hero! The story comes from 2 Kings: 5! Check it out!

Tonight at Vesper Hill the kids read a book called The Giving Tree. They talked about how heroes can be awesome, but God is the ultimate superhero. Now they are off to get ready for bed!
