Tagging Friends!

The motto on the laser tag field is "we here at camp do not shoot our friends we tag them." After breakfast the campers had the opportunity to go out on the laser tag field and "tag" each other. The campers loved attacking the counselors in order to get them out of the game. They had a lot of fun and were able to play multiple games before lunch time came around.

Worship Service

Be courages is something that people hear all the time, but as young middle schoolers it may not be the easiest thing for them to do. So tonight was all about being courageous, that does not mean that they have to be better than everyone. It just means that as a Christian they will have to learn how to stand there ground. They also learned about taking healthy risk with stepping out in their faith. At the end of the message they built a brick wall. The bricks were written on by the campers. They could just write there names, or something they want to improve on. All those things are ways that they build each other up, and also thought them courage. This was another great night of reflection for the campers.

Scripture Focus

"Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life—this is my petition. And spare my people—this is my request." NIV

Internet troubles

The internet here at Indicoso has been having problems. We think that the problem has been solved. Thank you for your patience during this time!

Earlier this morning the campers were able to spend some time up in the air. They had a ton and fun and many were able to get past their fear of heights with the encouragement of the staff and their friends. It has been an exciting morning.

Swim Time

The campers took their swim tests today, and then had time to spend in the pool having fun!

**Scripture Focus** > "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10 NIV

Tonights Worship

The campers sang 4 songs before listening to a message. Tonights message was about asking God for wisdom. The story of Solomon was talked about and how he was so wise because of his relationship with God. The message was based off of James 1:5.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."NIV

After the message the campers took some time to reflect about their lives and maybe some hard choices they made. The campers then headed out to the basketball courts where they lit some candles to symbolize the things they were letting go. It was an amazing time of reflection for the campers.

The staff here at Indicoso is extremely excited to have campers here! We have been waiting weeks, and we are excited for all the fun and growth that this week will bring!

Worship Session

Tonight the campers had a time set a side for some worship. There were some technical difficulties, so the campers had to sing acapella. The campers are going to be working through a little devotional called, "Who You Are" throughout this week. Tonight they focused on "I am here". The campers were able to talk about why they came, and some of the things that they had to leave behind. The verse that was the focus was the I Am verse in Exodus.

"God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" NIV

Campfire Cancelled

The campfire that was supposed to be held tonight has been cancelled because of storms that are headed this way. The campers are fine, and instead are headed back to their cabins.
